STANDARD NUTRITION FOR CATS: ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE EVERY CAT OWNER SHOULD KNOW

At Pet5H, nutrition is always considered one of the most important foundations in feline healthcare. Through examining and advising thousands of cats, we have found that many issues that seem “unrelated” at first-such as a poor coat, low energy, frequent small urination, inconsistent stools, obesity, and even chronic kidney disease—often have their roots in an unsuitable diet. In contrast, when a cat’s diet is built according to proper standards, cats tend to become healthier, develop stronger immunity, and show clear improvement in long-term wellbeing and longevity.

CREATING A SUITABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT FOR CATS: A COMPLETE GUIDE FOR OWNERS

Raising a cat at home is not just about providing good food and a warm bed, but also about creating a living environment that truly suits the cat’s natural instincts and needs. At Pet5H, we’ve found that many health, behavioral, and psychological issues in cats originate from their everyday living environment. When the space is not safe enough, lacks stimulation, or does not meet the cat’s natural needs, they can easily become stressed, bored, or develop behavioral problems such as scratching furniture, hiding, poor appetite, or persistent vocalization. In contrast, a well-designed living environment that matches the cat’s personality not only keeps them healthy but also makes them more confident, bonded, and harmonious with their owners.

[REAL CASE AT PET5H] Dog with Eye Abscess: Turns Out the Cause Was Dental

Jun, a small but energetic dog, was brought to Pet5H in a condition where his right eye was continuously discharging pus, causing him significant pain and discomfort. The owner reported that Jun had previously been examined and treated at two other veterinary facilities, and had even undergone general anesthesia to incise and drain the eye abscess. However, his condition showed no improvement. An initial diagnosis at another clinic suggested a blocked tear duct (nasolacrimal duct obstruction). Yet, after several days of treatment, the purulent discharge persisted without any signs of relief, leaving Jun increasingly fatigued. This ongoing issue caused the right eye area to remain red, swollen, and highly sensitive to light. Jun frequently rubbed his eye, refused food due to discomfort, and lost his usual agility. Seeing their beloved pet in constant pain with no progress, Jun’s family grew extremely worried and decided to bring him to the Pet5H Animal Hospital for answers.
